This is my nephew when he’s about 2 years old I think. We we’re strolling along the beach in Zambales and I’m not sure what month that was (or what it’s called) but we’re far out into the sea already and the water is still ankle deep (leg deep for him that is). So he figured, sands and shells are getting boring and went straight for the water instead, in his undies! And why not, water is not so deep and there’s practically no wave at all, perfect for him actually! I put a wide brim hat on him so he doesn’t get burn too much, but before I knew it, he’s soaking my hat in the water! Oh well, he couldn’t care less about a hat nor the sun for sure, he finds it more interesting to see a dripping hat instead!

I previously worked as a news and sports photographer. Recently I have been enjoying wildlife photography. My approach toward bird photos is similar to sports photography. I attempt to capture mostly action and hopefully a unique perspective.

Reblogged this on patriciaddrury.
Thanks Patricia :)
It’s a first for me that someone reblogged my post. Although I must admit I’m not exactly sure what it means, I just have a feeling that it’s a good thing, so thanks again!
It means I liked it well enough to pass on to people who might also enjoy it. I don’t do it very often, but keep up the good work! Or your passion, I mean… we must stick together :-)
wow, I’m very flattered! haha!
What a beautiful, sweet shot!
Thank you, I’m glad I’m not the only one who finds it sweet :)
Kids don’t need any expensive toys in that age … to be amused. Wonderful photo of a very cute little boy.
Thanks, Viveka! You’re right, sometimes they find the oddest things around them and look at it as if it came from outer space :)
Cute photo!
Thanks a lot, Phil!
Bwahahahaa! kids …. their carelessness is so fun to witness,… and endearing. Lovely image!
Thanks, Rommel! You’re right, i’ll surely missed moments like this, it’s actually hard to think sometimes that they’ll all soon grow up! :)
Just priceless! This is what magical childhood moments are made of. Looks like your nephew already has a great sense of humor. Dripping hat…..irresitibly funny. Great post.
Thanks, Island Traveler! He does have his own way of entertaining himself, hehe! :)
cute pics :)
Thanks, Archana!
That’s an incredible shot! Perfect capture, timing, and color. That’s a once-in-a-lifetime shot and it came out great.
Wow, I greatly appreciate that! Thanks, I really love this photo! I’m glad you guys liked it, too! :)
Magical!
Thanks! You just made me smile.

Thank you, Virgilio!
It was my pleasure to visit your site, poetry and amazing photos are always a delight! :)
very sweet article, I am sure it reflects the character of the owner!
Thanks for the kind words, Sydney! :)
nice picture of your nephew. Kids are somehow naturally attracted to water, aren’t they? Every time I bring my sons to the beach, they’d always go for water first – the rest can wait!
Thanks, Monika! I couldn’t agree more! And I can totally relate, it’s always like they’re seeing the beach for the first time! :)
